California police use special tactic to end car chase

Police in California used a special manoeuvre to end a high-speed chase through the streets of Orange County.

They were pursuing the driver of a truck who police said they tried to pull over on suspicion of committing minor traffic violations.

Officers used the tactic known as the precision immobilisation technique (PIT) to stop the truck.
