Hillary Clinton 'on the brink' of Democratic nomination

Hilary Clinton says she is "on the brink" of sealing the Democratic nomination for president.

The US presidential primary contest began in the snows of Iowa in February and will end in the sunshine of California on Tuesday.

It is there, along with five other states, that Democrats Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are still battling.

Donald Trump has already clinched the Republican nomination - but that has not stopped the protests which dog his events.
