'I survived the Deepwater Horizon blast'

Mike Williams was one of the last people to leave the Deepwater Horizon oil rig after it was ripped apart by an explosion six years ago, killing 11 of the 126 people on board.

His story, of how he survived the blast and went on to rescue many of those trapped on the rig, is the subject of a new film. Mark Wahlberg is playing his role.

Mr Williams tells Today programme presenter Sarah Montague what happened in the moments before the explosion.
