Daredevils race in wingsuit slalom at 160mph

Forty athletes from 18 countries have competed in the Red Bull Aces wingsuit four-cross championship above the Phoenix desert.

The daredevils jump from a helicopter at around 8000ft (2,500m), before slaloming head-to-head through the sport’s only mid-air gates.

Noah Bahnson of the United States won the event after finishing as the runner-up in the previous two years.
