Michael Flynn resignation 'a matter of trust'

White House press secretary Sean Spicer has said that President Donald Trump asked his chief adviser on national security to resign, after his trust in him had eroded.

Michael Flynn stepped down over allegations he discussed US sanctions with a Russian envoy before Mr Trump took office.
