Philippines: Marawi residents flee Maute Islamist militants
Thousands of people from Marawi in the southern Philippine island of Mindanao have been fleeing their homes after gunmen rampaged through the city.
The Islamist militants beheaded a police chief and at least three members of the security forces were killed in the ensuing gun battle.
President Rodrigo Duterte has said martial law on Mindanao could be extended across the Philippines.
