Hundreds of dancers have performed in New York to show support for Prince George, after the six-year-old son of Prince William was mocked by a US television host for taking ballet lessons.

Lara Spencer, who hosts Good Morning America, has since apologised for her comments about the third in line to the UK throne.

Famous choreographers and dancers condemned her remarks.
