Huge fire at New Mexico recycling facility triggers health warning
Firefighters are battling a large blaze at a plastic recycling plant in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
No injuries were reported, but local officials have issued a health alert as plastics are burning in the fire and the smoke contains hazardous air pollutants.
Authorities are strongly recommending limited outdoor activities across portions of south-east Albuquerque and the South Valley, where the prevailing wind carried the smoke.
