UAW strike: What do both sides say?

The United Autoworkers Union has said staff will stop work at three plants owned by General Motors, Ford and Stellantis.

Meanwhile, Ford CEO Jim Farley said that employees will be the ones who "suffer the most" as a result of the strike.
