Mesmerising Northern Lights visible in US and Canada

Some US and Canadian residents witnessed the aurora borealis light up the night sky on Monday. The lights were seen even as far south as Missouri in the US. Forecasters predicted that the phenomenon would persist for several hours into Tuesday.
