Biden and Trump at the border: How the visits played out

President Joe Biden and Donald Trump have made competing visits to Texas to address the surge in illegal border crossings from Mexico.

Immigration is one of the key issues for US voters in this year's presidential election and Mr Biden and Mr Trump - his most likely challenger - are both hoping to win over voters.

President Biden visited Brownsville on the far-east of Texas, while Mr Trump went to Eagle Pass.
