A view from inside Columbia's campus as US students protest

Hundreds of students at Columbia University were camped on the school lawn on Tuesday in protest against the war in Gaza.

The "encampment" formed after the arrests of more than 100 student protesters at Columbia last week. Similar demonstrations have now sprung up on campuses across the US including at Yale and New York University.
