Pro-Palestinian protests in New York after university makeshift camp shut down
Up to a thousand pro-Palestinian protesters marched through New York on Friday, following the shut down of one of the last student makeshift camp at New York University.
Earlier, officials had asked for the police's assistance to disperse the protest, with some students arrested.
Protesters returned to the same spot, and marched to Washington Square Park to join hundreds of Jewish people who were marking Shabbat and advocating for a ceasefire.
