US lawmaker uses voice assist app to address Congress
Virginia Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton adressed the House on Monday using a text-to-voice app. A year ago, the lawmaker was diagnosed with progressive supranuclear palsy, which makes it difficult for her to speak.
As a result of her diagnosis, Waxton is serving the remainder of her term but will not be seeking re-election.
