Police clear camp and retake building at UC Irvine
Police officers clashed with demonstrators as they cleared a Gaza protest encampment at the University of California, Irvine. Protesters had been at the campus for more than two weeks and on Wednesday took over a lecture hall.
Some protesters were arrested, and one could be seen bleeding while he was taken into custody.
Protesters are calling for universities to boycott companies and individuals with ties to Israel amid the ongoing war there.
