The Chinese threat to Indian embroidery

Chikankari is a very intricate and famous Indian embroidery style, which has been around for centuries.

But a recent study by one of India's most prominent industry bodies has found the traditional craft is under threat by Chinese machine-made fabric, and that this could affect the livelihoods of around half a million workers employed by it.

The BBC's Yogita Limaye reports from the northern Indian city of Lucknow, where the craft was born.
