Millions of 'lovebugs' swarm hikers in South Korea
Hikers at Gyeyangsan mountain in South Korea found an unexpected surprise at the summit - a huge swarm of 'lovebugs'.
In a video shared to social media, a hiker who visited the mountain is seen covered in the small insects and swatting them away with an electric bug zapper.
The mountain was "covered with bugs" that formed a "thick carpet", he told local media.
Lovebugs - given the name due to their habit of flying around in pairs - have been appearing in large numbers across parts of South Korea in the last few years, according to local reports.
It is believed that rising temperatures are spurring on their spread.
