'Some in government don't believe in free markets'

Iain Conn, Centrica's chief executive, defended the energy industry after the Conservatives indicated they planned to place a cap on household energy bills in their election manifesto.

"There are some at the heart of this government who don't believe in free markets," he told Today's Dominic O'Connell.

Centrica shares fell on Monday over concerns about the price cap.
