Watch: Heavy rain and flooding as Nor'easter slams multiple US states

A major nor'easter cyclone hit several states across in the US North-eastern coast on Sunday and Monday. Strong winds caused fallen trees in New York, and heavy rains resulted in flooding in New Jersey and Virginia.

The cyclone is named for the direction that winds blow in the western North Atlantic Ocean.
