Cheers after teachers reject latest government pay offer
Members of the UK's largest education union have overwhelmingly rejected the latest pay offer from the government.
The results of the National Education Union ballot found that 98% of NEU members were in favour of turning the deal down.
The government previously said it was "a fair and reasonable offer".
After rejecting the deal, teachers are set to strike on Thursday 27 April and Tuesday 2 May.
