Stacey Solomon has been crowned "queen of the jungle" in ITV1 reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The former X Factor contestant won the public vote in the final, beating Happy Mondays singer Shaun Ryder.

Solomon had been the biggest favourite ever on the show, quoted at 1/16 by some bookmakers before the final.

The show, in its 10th series, began on 14 November. The contestants this year also included Linford Christie, Lembit Opik and Britt Ekland.

Solomon told presenters Ant and Dec that she had enjoyed "the time of my life" on the show.

The mother-of-one, from Dagenham, east London, finished third in last year's series of The X Factor, beaten in that show's final by Joe McElderry and Olly Murs.

As I'm A Celebrity got under way last month, Solomon described her special skill as "talking".

Her dippy, upbeat manner helped win public affection as well as support among fellow contestants including Jenny Eclair and Dom Joly, who backed the singer to triumph.
