Take That and Robbie Williams set for Brits return

Earlier this year, it was announced that Robbie Williams (centre) was rejoining Take That

Take That will perform as a five piece at next year's Brit Awards, for the first time in 16 years.

The group - who recently reunited with Robbie Williams - last sang together at the show in 1995 just months before Williams quit the band.

Rapper and soul star Plan B has also been confirmed as part of the line up for the February music show.

The announcement was made on Thursday to coincide with industry experts voting on the winners.

Next year, the ceremony will take place at the O2 Arena in south-east London, instead of its usual venue which was Earl's Court in west London.

The winners will walk away with new-look trophies, which have been redesigned by Dame Vivienne Westwood.

The nominations will be announced on 13 January.

Earlier this year, Williams - who launched a solo career after leaving Take That in 1995 - was presented with an outstanding contribution award.

Take That took to the stage in 2009 to sing Greatest Day, which was the first single off their album The Circus.

In July, it was announced Williams was returning to the group and they have since released an album and announced a 2011 tour.
