Musician and TV presenter Jools Holland has been honoured at an awards event that saw him described as a "national treasure" by the Prince of Wales.
In a video message, the Prince paid tribute to Holland's "irresistible music" and "wonderful humanity".
Holland received the Music Industry Trusts award from comedienne Jennifer Saunders at the London charity gala.
The 53-year-old said he was "delighted" to be recognised for his contribution to music and broadcasting.
Imelda May, Rumer, Paul Weller and Holland's own Rhythm and Blues Orchestra performed at the event.
Other messages of congratulation were sent by Sir Elton John, Sir George Martin, Ringo Starr and the Rolling Stones.
Around 1,000 guests attended the event at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, held in aid of the Nordoff Robbins music charity and the Brit Trust.
Holland, a founder member of the pop group Squeeze, has presented Later... with Jools Holland since 1992 and was awarded an OBE in 2003.
