Tim Minchin pens Roald Dahl songs for West End musical
The Royal Shakespeare Company's adaptation of Roald Dahl's Matilda became such a success in Stratford Upon Avon that it has now transferred to the West End.
The composer and lyricist behind the musical, Australian comedian Tim Minchin, had wanted to turn the story into a musical for years when he was asked to work on the project.
Minchin told BBC Breakfast the book was a big part of his childhood.
