Jennifer Lawrence on The Hunger Games rating challenge

The Hunger Games had its UK premiere in London on Wednesday night.

The film, based on the first of a trilogy of novels by Suzanne Collins, is about a group of teenagers who fight one another in a televised battle to the death.

It has been cut by its distributor in order to achieve a teen-friendly rating of 12A in the UK.

Jennifer Lawrence, who plays the lead character, Katniss Everdeen, said the PG-13 rating in the US made the violence in the story "very quick".
