Former Westlife member Nicky Byrne has confirmed he is to compete on the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The 33-year-old revealed he would be one of the contestants while appearing as a guest on The One Show.
Tracy Beaker actress Dani Harmer and Daybreak presenter Richard Arnold are also confirmed to compete on the 10th series of the popular BBC One series.
The full line-up of celebrities will be announced next week ahead of the show's return on 15 September.
Children's presenter Johnny Ball and ex-cricketer Michael Vaughan are among others rumoured to be participating.
It is believed that Olympic cycling star Victoria Pendleton has also been approached and has expressed interest in appearing.
But on Monday, the full cast for the next season will be revealed.
Speaking about his plans to take part in the hit dance series, Byrne said: "It feels strange. I mean I'm excited, scared to death. Most of my dance career has been spent sitting on a stool with Westlife."
When One Show presenter Alex Jones pointed out that the routine for some participants largely involved getting off their stools, he replied: "We perfected that, I would say."
Byrne also said he was apprehensive about the costumes he would need to wear for the show.
"We were over last week and we met all the contestants and we met all the wardrobe girls who had plenty of fun putting some stuff on us.
"They made us put on this sequined diamante vest, with no material only diamantes and I thought, you're never going to see me in that."
Chart-topping Irish band Westlife called it a day earlier this year with a farewell tour marking their 14 years together.
