The Queen's Gambit: 'There were no women chess players'

Allan Scott, screenwriter and producer of the Netflix hit The Queen's Gambit, has told the BBC he stayed faithful to the book.

But he says that, while the streaming series is "taken straight from Walter Tevis's imagination", he did enjoy hearing from a real life chess grandmaster.
