Barry Humphries: 'He had a very brilliant mind' says Joan Bakewell

Labour Party peer and broadcaster Joan Bakewell has reflected on her friendship with Australian entertainer Barry Humphries, who has died aged 89.

He was best known for his comic character Dame Edna Everage, which Ms Bakewell said combined his sharp observational skills and his "brilliant mind"
