Toddlers to be offered flu vaccine

All two and three-year-old children are being offered a nasal spray vaccination against flu.

It is part of a UK-wide scheme to protect toddlers during the winter months, and in some areas it will also be extended to older children.

Until now vaccinations have mainly been targeted at elderly people, pregnant women and other vulnerable groups.
