'No vaccine' against the Zika virus

Health officials in the United States have said the Zika virus, which is carried by mosquitoes, definitely causes babies to be born with unusually small heads and severe brain abnormalities.

Dr Chris Dye from the World Health Organisation tells The World at One that the confirmation makes it even more important for pregnant women to take precautions, because there is no drug to treat the virus.
