Lots of questions remain after three killed in explosion at LA County sheriff training facilitypublished at 20:28 British Summer Time

We've just heard from Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna with an update on the explosion at a training centre for his department. Luna said he did not have much information to share, as the investigation is just getting under way.
Here's what we know so far:
- The explosion happened in the morning just after 07:30 local time (15:30 BST)
- Three deputies died at the scene following the explosion. No one else was injured
- The Biscailuz Training Facility in East Los Angeles has now been rendered safe by a bomb squad
- Luna said he had met with the families of two of the officers and describe the conversation as "extremely challenging"
- Luna said there is no further threat to the community
Here's what we don't know:
- Luna did not confirm what material the officers were handling
- Luna said he did not know what caused the explosion
- Luna said federal and local investigators are on scene to determine what happened and will give updates in future
- The officers have not been publicly identified, as one of their families have yet to be notified
