All our couples know exactly what's at stake this week - and, frankly, every other week for the rest of the series.

They’re now dancing to stay in the competition.

There was no public vote last week, and the judges' scores have rolled over.

Here’s a look at that leaderboard in full:

The top eight couples from week 1. Karen and Carlos are at the top of the leaderboard with 31 points, with Stefan and Dianne at the bottom with 22
The second half of last week's leaderboard, with Ross and Jowita at the bottom with a score of 10
  5. Someone will have to leave in Strictly's second weekpublished at 17:22 BST 4 October

Strictly Come Dancing is back for the second live show of the series and it’s now getting serious - this weekend, the first of our couples will leave the ballroom tomorrow.

It was a good week for former Lioness Karen Carney. The former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder is no stranger to being top of the table, and that’s exactly where she and partner Carlos Gu find themselves going into this week with a whopping 31 points out of 40.

Not such a good week for Ross King and Jowita Przystal, though - they only managed to score 10 points. But it was just the first week! Who knows!

Tess and Claudia will be back from 18:20 and we’ll be here all evening to provide reaction and analysis as the dance routine to the glitterball trophy gets under way.

    Watch with us!
