A stage on the dancefloor and flashing blue lights - Sarah and Vito's performance is making a mark before it even started.

Their choreography has fewer twirls round the dancefloor than the previous two contestants, but their sharp, striking moves still impresses the audience.

The pair both separately do impressive jumps off the stage in their black sparkly costumes.

The judges are sharing their thoughts now...

As Sarah takes on a dance to Kylie Minogue's chart-topping hit Padam Padam, comedian Miranda Hart, Sarah's friend and co-star from the BBC show Miranda, is thinking of a different kind of height for this performance.

On Instagram, Miranda suggests keeping it "simple" by having Vito enter the dancefloor via zip wire from the top of Blackpool Tower, with Sarah hitching a ride on a seagull.

She also advises the pair to indulge in 90 seconds of galloping, a nod fans of her comedy series will recognise as "Blackpool dressage".

Miranda ends the video saying, "good luck guys; don't let me down".

Chris and Dianne have just been twirling round the ballroom - the 100th Strictly couple to dance in Blackpool Tower's ballroom - for an American Smooth.

In a black tailcoat and white bow tie, Chris twirled Dianne, who is wearing a flowy pink dress, round the dancefloor to cheers from the crowd.

The duo hop, skip and jump while holding each other in their arms and whirling around.

Chris flips Dianne up on to his shoulder to massive cheers from the crowd.

They both cheer at the end of the dance along with the crowd - looks like everyone has enjoyed their performance, but what will the judges think?

As we've said, Chris McCausland’s performance last week was defined as a ‘poignant moment’ by judge Craig Revel Horwood, scoring an impressive 33 out of 40 from the judges.

Head judge Shirley Ballas praised McCausland, the BBC programme’s first blind contestant, saying he comes out every week "with your heart on your sleeve, and you give us 100%".

Speaking to the BBC after the show, the comedian said that he thinks people’s views of disabilities are “antiquated”.

"I think there are low expectations of people with disabilities,” he said, hoping his participation will “go some way in stretching people’s ideas of what is possible for a person with disabilities”.

Catch up with McCausland’s performance and post-show reflections in this story from the BBC’s Yasmin Rufo.

If anyone missed Bluey’s spectacular Strictly performance, she took centre stage for a special BBC Children in Need show on Friday evening.

Her “jaunty group jive” featured Strictly pros Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Neil Jones, Gorka Marquez, Johannes Radebe, and Michelle Tsiakkas, all set to the tune of Land of 1000 Dances.

For those keen to start grooving early, the routine was packed with easy-to-follow dance moves, including: The Mashed Potato, The Alligator, and The Floss.

In Neil’s words, who danced alongside her, it was “fab-blue-lous”!

When the lights came back on, Chris was spinning his partner Buswell around on his shoulders as pyrotechnics flared in the background.
