Diario Red, external is reporting that 40,000 people are still without power, although it has been restored for 114,000. The media outlet says that utility companies think they will be able to restore connections once access to the affected facilities is possible.
Meanwhile, Hortanoticias, external says that workers at a supermarket in Picanya have been guarding the store overnight because of fears of looting.
And as we've been reporting this morning, the death toll has reached at least 155 in the province of Valencia. EFE, external, citing confirmation from the Ministry of Justice, reports that the local government is planning to transfer the bodies of victims to an exhibition centre on the Valencia city's outskirts due to the numbers involved.
