UK Health Secretary Wes Streeting says comments about the Israel-Gaza war made by Bob Vylan yesterday during their Glastonbury set were "revolting".

Rapper Bobby Vylan called for "death" to the Israeli military. Streeting tells the Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg programme: "If I think about the war in Ukraine, no doubt I want Ukraine to win but that doesn't mean I'm going to be cheering on the deaths of Russians, I don't think anyone wins from that."

Streeting is also asked whether he agrees with the Israeli Embassy, who said the comments raise "concerns about the glorification of violence".

He says "that is a challenge and that's why I don't think anyone should be cheering it on".

But he adds: "I’d also say to the Israeli embassy, get your own house in order", referencing the reports this week of Palestinians killed in the occupied West Bank after dozens of Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian village.

Bob Vylan's set on the festival's West Holts stage came ahead of Kneecap

Police in Somerset say they are assessing comments made on stage by rap punk duo Bob Vylan and Irish-language rap group Kneecap at Glastonbury yesterday.

Rapper Bobby Vylan led chants of "free, free Palestine" and "death, death to the IDF [Israel Defense Forces]".

The government condemned the chants, which were aired live on the BBC. A BBC spokesperson said some of the comments were "deeply offensive", adding it had issued a warning on screen about "very strong and discriminatory language". The set will not be available to rewatch on BBC iPlayer.

The festival said it "does not condone hate speech or incitement to violence of any kind from its performers".

Kneecap's highly-charged performance on Saturday was watched by thousands and hit back at PM Sir Keir Starmer with expletive-laden chants, after he previously called the band's Glastonbury appearance "not appropriate".

Rapper Doechii delivered one of the standout performances of the day in a set lasting just 45 minutes

Saturday night saw festival-goers pulled in four very different directions, with fans facing the cruel choice between pop queen Charli XCX, rock legend Neil Young, disco scamps Scissor Sisters and Doechii - rap's hottest new voice.

Charli XCX drew the biggest crowd - there was hardly room to move near the Other Stage as fans, many dressed in Brat hats and slogan tees, gathered to wait for her performance.

Meanwhile Young, who topped the bill on the Pyramid Stage, delivered a crowd-pleasing set of all his greatest hits, alongside his new band The Chrome Hearts.

Over on the West Holts Stage, Florida-born rapper Doechii delivered a mesmerising show, singing, rapping, dancing and changing outfits multiple times in a show that was themed as a lesson in the history of hip-hop, while the Woodsies tent was packed out for Scissor Sisters.

There was also controversy on Worthy Farm, with Somerset Police saying they are assessing comments made on stage by rap punk duo Bob Vylan and Irish-language rap group Kneecap during consecutive, politically-charged sets.

Elsewhere, Jarvis Cocker's Pulp performed Common People in a not-so-secret set, and Raye got one of the day's biggest audiences at the Pyramid Stage.

Olivia Rodrigo is among those who will be performing on Sunday

Good morning and we are back to bring you all the action from the final day of Glastonbury 2025.

Olivia Rodrigo is headlining the Pyramid Stage - just days after she brought on Ed Sheeran as a surprise guest at her London gig - at the same time as electronic legends The Prodigy on The Other Stage.

Sir Rod Stewart will be sailing (get it) in to play the now iconic legend's slot - more than 20 years after he last played the festival as headliner - and there are plenty of other great acts to keep you going, including Jorja Smith, Wolf Alice and The Maccabees.

And if, like some of us in the office, you aren't lucky enough to be there but still want to enjoy the music, our live streams from five different stages will start getting up and running from around 12:00 BST.

  5. As festival-goers depart main stages, we're pausing our coveragepublished at 01:00 British Summer Time 29 June

After another memorable day at Worthy Farm, full of dancing, teasing and serenading from some of the world's biggest artists, we're pausing our live coverage.

Saturday saw huge names, from Charli XCX to Neil Young to Doechii, rock from iconic Glastonbury corners.

We'll be back tomorrow for the final day of this year's Glastonbury magic, where Olivia Rodrigo will headline the Pyramid Stage.

  8. Class is dismissed by Doechiipublished at 00:03 British Summer Time 29 June

    Noor Nanji
    Reporting from Glastonbury

And with that, class is dismissed. Doechii’s set was only 45 minutes long, but the Swamp Princess (a nod to her Floridian roots) made her Glastonbury debut count. She sang, rapped, danced and changed outfits multiple times, supported by backing dancers climbing on props and going down a slide. Tracks such as Persuasive, Anxiety, Denial Is A River and Alter Ego were delivered flawlessly and had the audience shouting the lyrics back at her.

Doechii’s rise over the past year has been nothing short of phenomenal, and it feels this Glasto headline slot is just another feather in her cap. It made me forget anything else that was happening at the festival tonight, and that’s exactly what you want music to do.

  9. Neil Young ends with Throw Your Hatred Downpublished at 23:58 British Summer Time 28 June

    Mark Savage
    Music correspondent, reporting from Glastonbury

“You got time for another one?” asks Neil Young, to massive cheers, before launching into a ragged version of 1995’s Throw Your Hatred Down. The star, an outspoken critic of President Trump, has been relatively quiet on the political front tonight - but this feels like a deliberate choice.

The lyrics criticise politicians and the war machine, contrasting the idealism of the 1960s to the cruelties of the modern world. Both as a protest song and a lament for human nature, it’s a powerful way to end a peerless set.

  10. Charli XCX licks the stagepublished at 23:50 British Summer Time 28 June

Charli XCX's set list included several songs from her pre-brat era.

During Blame It On Your Love she crawled along the stage - and licked it - before launching into 2012 hit I Love It.

  11. Neil Young tears up the stage with Rockin’ In The Free Worldpublished at 23:45 British Summer Time 28 June

Neil Young’s audience stuck with him throughout the set - a testament to how compelling his set has been tonight. After he finishes up with the classic Old Man, the crowd bays for more… And, after an unexpectedly long pause, he obliges. Right now, he’s tearing up the stage with a full-throttle version of Rockin’ In The Free World. In the words of Danny Zuko, It’s electrifying.

  12. Harry Styles in the crowd at Doechiipublished at 23:43 British Summer Time 28 June

How good is Doechii? Well, let’s put it this way – Harry Styles is in the field, watching with everyone else, safety be damned. We spotted him dancing around, with a man bag slung over his shoulder, apparently unbothered by fans. How did he do that?

  13. Brat is foreverpublished at 23:42 British Summer Time 28 June

Charli just answered my question – a series of graphics just flashed up on the screens here to let us know that brat is in fact not over – brat is forever.

  14. Is Charli XCX trying to tell us something?published at 23:40 British Summer Time 28 June

    Annabel Rackham
    BBC Culture reporter at Glastonbury

Is Charli XCX telling us something in tonight’s set? Not only did it begin with a giant frayed and decaying green brat curtain being set fire to, but the 32-year-old, who has famously punctuated her sets with a host of famous special guests, has yet to bring anyone on stage so far to perform alongside her. The vocals of Lorde rang out on her song Girl, So Confusing and those of Billie Eilish on Guess, but neither collaborator appeared in person. Could it be that she wants one final moment to shine as solo artist before she says goodbye to the brat era for good?

Neil Young’s playing Like A Hurricane - a long-time highlight of his setlist, with a time-bending guitar solo that’s inspired hundreds of people to pick up their first plectrum.Tonight’s version doesn’t disappoint, twisting into new forms and taking flight in a drizzly night sky. Young always seems to get great pleasure playing this one, and it’s mesmerising to watch.

  17. No room at the Other Stagepublished at 23:25 British Summer Time 28 June

    Mark Savage
    Music correspondent, reporting from Glastonbury

I just abandoned my post at Neil Young and sprinted up to The Other Stage to catch a quick moment with Charli XCX. No dice. Even with backstage access and BBC passes, the Other Stage is closed. I can hear her, I can see the lights. Luckily, Annabel is there to soak it all up and report back.

  18. Doechii schools us in hip-hop – and it's a master classpublished at 23:23 British Summer Time 28 June

    André Rhoden-Paul
    Reporting from Glastonbury

Wow, we're being treated to a very high energy performance by Doechii. The concept of the show is the Swamp Princess giving us lessons in hip-hop.

She is aided by her eight dancers, twerking and even voguing down a slide. There was even a costume change behind umbrellas, making light of criticism the US singer received on social media over a viral Met Gala video in which she demanded umbrellas to hide her outfit.

From the high tempo Alter Ego to viral hit Persuasive, she is giving a master class in contemporary rap.

Doechii’s stage presence is fantastic. Her and the backing dancers are all in varieties of multicolored mini skirts (it’s outfit number two for her), her dance moves are dizzying to watch, and she’s currently getting the audience to shout the lyrics of Alter Ego back to her
