    Reform has also taken Whitwick, where the Conservative Party had a majority of 1,300 after the election in 2021.

    Joseph Boam has beaten previous councillor Tony Gillard, who polled less than half his score from the last election.

    Boam, who is chairman of Reform's North West Leicestershire branch, wrote on X: "As chairman I’m so proud of my brilliant candidates for all their hard work.

    "Thank you to every voter who put their trust in us."

    We've been having a few issues getting the exact polling numbers through for each ward due to technical problems at the council, so we'll post those as soon as we have them.

    However, all seats have now declared and Leicestershire County Council will be hung with Reform as the largest party.

    That means the Conservatives have lost control of the council for the first time in almost a quarter of a century.

    The number of seats won by each party are:

    Conservative - 15

    Liberal Democrats - 11

    Labour - 2

    Green - 1
