FMQs: The headlinespublished at 13:00 British Summer Time 12 June
FMQs has drawn to a close. If you're just joining us, here are the key lines that were raised:
- Scottish Tory leader Russell Findlay highlighted what he called Scotland's "economic performance gap of £1.1bn"
- The FM defended his government's taxation plans and insisted the SNP was "business friendly"
- Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar raised the issue of job losses at the Alexander Dennis bus company, calling it another "SNP failure"
- Swinney replied that he was "deeply concerned" about the job losses and stressed that his government was doing all it could to help the workforce
- Scottish Greens co-leader Lorna Slater called on the prime minister to outline the conditions that would trigger indyref2
- The FM agreed with this and said the sooner Scotland was independent the better
- Inevitably, the Spending Review was raised from the backbenches and Swinney said Scotland was being short-changed by the UK government to the tune of more than £1bn
