    Harry arrived at the Community Recording Studio (CRS) in St Ann's in a black Range Rover, about 40 minutes late to the engagement, according to the PA news agency.

    The duke laughed when a member of the public called out to him "Harry, you brought the sunshine with you", before he greeted the chief executive officer of the CRS charity with a handshake and hug.

    The Duke of Sussex gave a thumbs-up and a smile before he went inside the recording studio building.

    About 100 locals, including a group of young children, gathered by a garage on the other side of the road to clap and cheer for Harry.

    The Community Recording Studio (CRS) was established in 1991 and teaches film and video skills as well as music, giving young people access to professional equipment and industry figures, including musicians like Estelle (pictured) and Aloe Blacc.

    The charity's website says it was founded by members of the local community who have first-hand experiences of the needs of young people growing up in the area.

    It's fairly quiet here at the moment, other than the noise coming from a nearby helicopter, as the crowds build.

    There are several camera operators that have their tripods set up, and photographers are setting up their cameras in anticipation of the arrival of Prince Harry. The event seems to have grabbed the attention of the media, that's for sure.

    More and more people are gathering at the CRS in St Ann's.

    Charlotte, 31, from Nottingham, has come to the event with her one-year-old Cillian.

    "I think everything that he does is great," she said. "I really do like Prince Harry for everything that he does.

    "My daughter attended this centre and everything they do - getting kids off the streets and out of danger - they're making friends.

    "It's really nice to have around."

    Karen Aspley, from Nottingham (pictured above), works for the Nottingham Mencap learning disability charity.

    She said she was "really looking forward" to the visit.

    "We're really, really excited that he's coming here just highlighting this local part of Nottingham and it's just an exciting day," she added.

    "We don't get many high-profile visits, wish we had more.

    "It's good for our people to be recognised really."

    People are beginning to gather at the CRS in Nottingham awaiting Prince Harry.

    Diana De Faria, 33, who is originally from Brazil but now lives in Gedling in Nottinghamshire, said: "I'm here because I'm a big fan.

    "We in Brazil always see the news what is happening with the Royal Family.

    "My father gave my name because of Princess Diana.

    "I'll be nervous [when he arrives] because I couldn't see him last time he came to Nottingham. I'm very excited to finally see him in person."

    The relationship between Prince Harry and his father King Charles III has been strained since the Duke of Sussex stepped back from royal duties and moved to the US.

    However, there have been recent signs that tensions between father and son are easing, and that a reconciliation could be within reach.

    His father was in Italy on a state visit during the prince's April trip to London but, this time, the King will be in the UK.

    Buckingham Palace has not commented on the possibility of a meeting between the King and the duke during this trip.

    Prince Harry has returned to the UK from his Californian home for two days to attend a number of charity events.

    He arrived on Monday before laying a wreath at the chapel at Windsor Castle where his grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, is buried on the third anniversary of her death.

    Later, he attended an awards ceremony for WellChild, a charity that supports seriously ill children and their families.

    Harry has been a patron for 17 years and made a speech on the 20th anniversary of the awards.

    It is not known if Harry has any private appointments, or if he will meet the King or his brother.
