Lawyers have spent the morning arguing about what note to send back to the jury, after they asked whether giving drugs to someone who asked for it counts as distribution.
The government wanted to respond with "yes", while the defence team wanted to refer to the entire instruction on the charge.
The judge appears terse with the defence lawyers this morning.
"Can you do what I’m asking?" he says to Marc Agnifilo, after he keeps objecting to the proposed note.
The judge argues the defence’s proposal would be misleading and would "leave the jury at sea".
In the end, he decides to refer to the specific lines that reference the instructions on the drug distribution charge.
