Swinney targets 'whole family support' to end child poverty

This is the first FMQs since John Swinney announced his Programme for Government and we can expect opposition parties to focus on it and the £500m of cuts Finance Secretary Shona Robison outlined earlier in the week.

The first minister confirmed the Scottish government had ditched an unfulfilled commitment to expand free school meals to all primary school pupils.

This week Scottish Tory leader Douglas Ross and Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar are joined by Scottish Greens co-leader Lorna Slater in posing the questions.

We know there will be questions on Winter Fuel Payments, education for looked after children and nursing and midwifery vacancies from the backbenches.
