The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza has this morning reported at least 20 deaths following an Israeli strike on the Nasser hospital in Khan Younis.
The ministry says that medics, patients and journalists are among those who have died, and says that treatment of patients in the hospital has been impacted.
Al Jazeera says on its Instagram account that one of their journalists was killed in the attack - the outlet adds that at least three other journalists were also killed.
Separately, Associated Press has reported that a visual journalist who freelanced for the agency, among other outlets, has died.
The IDF has said there will be an "initial inquiry" following the strike and adds that it "does not target journalists as such".
