    It was revealed the percentage of Scottish cancer patients receiving treatment within the target time was the lowest since records began.

    In more bad news for the Scottish government, BMA Scotland chairman Dr Iain Kennedy said the NHS was "dying before our very eyes".

    These two damning health stories will almost certainly feature in the questions asked by one, or all, of the opposition party leaders today.

    Elsewhere, Rape Crisis described a "staggering" 15% rise in the number of rapes and attempted rapes recorded in Scotland last year as "alarming".
