When will Morgan be sworn in?published at 10:53 British Summer Time 6 August 2024
All 60 Members of the Senedd (MSs) are due to nominate the new first minister within the next hour.
They will meet in the Siambr at 11:00 BST, with the session expected to last about 30 mins.
Once assembled, the presiding officer - or Llywydd - Elin Jones will ask for nominations for first minister.
Labour will nominate Morgan, while the Conservatives and Plaid Cymru will nominate their own leaders.
There is then a roll-call vote of MSs where each politician will be asked alphabetically who they support.
If confirmed, Morgan's name will go to the King for approval before she can be sworn in.
