    Good morning and welcome to our live coverage of flooding across the West Midlands.

    Heavy rainfall and overnight snow have led to flood warnings and travel disruption across the region.

    There is a yellow weather warning for snow and ice covering Shropshire and Staffordshire until 12:00 GMT.

    A further yellow warning for snow and ice is in place from 17:00 this afternoon to 10:00 tomorrow, covering Shropshire, Staffordshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and Warwickshire.

    There are 36 flood warnings across the region.

    The conditions have caused road closures, rail disruption, and dozens of schools have shut.
