Alan Bates will speak to MPs this afternoon

Campaigner Sir Alan Bates is to speak to MPs on the Business and Trade select committee this afternoon about "fast and fair" compensation for the Post Office Horizon IT scandal victims.

There are a number of compensation schemes for the hundreds of sub-postmasters and their families affected by the long-running scandal, but campaigners say it is still taking too long for them to be adequately compensated - which some MPs agree with.

We'll be bringing you a live stream and coverage of the hearing as it unfolds.
