    Natalie Bennett

The Victoria Derbyshire programme has been discussing whether it's time for electoral reform. Nigel Farage - whose party got more than three million votes across the country but ended up with one MP - says first-past-the-post is "bankrupt... it just doesn't work". So what would he suggest? He thinks AV+ would be a sensible way forward. (See our guide to the various options for political presentation here.)

Green Party leader Natalie Bennett adds that ordinary voters want change, saying the public are fed up with feeling they are "forced to vote for the lesser of two evils" . We really need a new system, she says, as she restates her party's call for a "national conversation" on the way forward.

    Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson has just arrived at Downing Street - much to the waiting media's excitement. "Give us a wave Boris," they shout. He duly obliges. That pleased them. Time for speculation now about what job - if any - he'll be given by the prime minister. Perhaps a minister without porfolio role, speculates our own Norman Smith.

Ben Bradshaw is asked who he'd like to succeed Ed Miliband? "I haven't decided yet," he says.

He adds that the candidates need to be given time to set out their stalls, make the argument and show people they understand why Labour lost and how to win in 2020.

"I can really speak my mind now," says the now ex-leader of UKIP, Nigel Farage. Asked whether he's given more thought to putting his hat into the ring in the leadership contest later this year, Mr Farage says he hasn't - instead he's thinking about the referendum.

He predicts this government will be a re-run of John Major's 1992 government which saw the Conservative Party paralysed by infighting over the issue of Europe.

Mr Davis, who says he lived through it, disagrees. The Conservative Party has seen the consequences of it, he says, and notes that this time round there is going to be a referendum.
