David Cameron has chosen to use the previously held Lib Dem posts in government to bring in new talent. Otherwise, the theme of the PM's reshuffle has been "continuity", with key figures remaining in their posts.

David: How can Boris be expected to do any justice to either of his political appointments? I mistakenly thought that both jobs would be full time. He's either extremely talented (which I doubt), or both jobs are a doddle and can both be squeezed in, I know that lots of MPs have more than one job, but not when both are funded by the taxpayer. This doesn't show our political system in a very good light.
