This coverage is coming to a close imminently - but we'll leave you at a look back at today's headlines.
- Prince William has thanked members of the public for their support, in his first such comments since Monday's announcement that his father King Charles had been diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer
- Speaking at a fundraiser for the London Air Ambulance - where he was joined by Hollywood star Tom Cruise - William joked: "It's fair to say the past few weeks have had a rather 'medical' focus. So I thought I'd come to an air ambulance function to get away from it all!"
- Today's engagements marked William's return to public royal duties after his wife Kate underwent abdominal surgery last month - which he also acknowledged at the gala. Speaking to the BBC, the heir to the throne said: "We really appreciate everyone's kind messages, thank you"
- Prince Harry - who travelled from Los Angeles to London to meet his father on Tuesday - was earlier spotted at Heathrow again, and was thought to be travelling back to the US. The prince did not see his brother William during his 24-hour visit to the UK
- Buckingham Palace said Prime Minister Rishi Sunak would wish the King well in a "brief personal call", and that their regular in-person meetings were expected to resume later this month
- In Parliament, today’s session of Prime Minister's Questions saw Sunak, Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer and the SNP's Westminster leader Stephen Flynn send the King their well wishes
- Both the King and Queen Camilla are thought to currently be resting at Sandringham
