    Wallsend-born Guitarist Tom Lapworth, external, who was the second act to play, told me: "It's been absolutely phenomenal, just seeing the variety of performers, it's wonderful to see people pooling their resources.

    "I've been learning the guitar since I was 10 and I've been learning ever since then. I'd love to make a living from it, it's my ultimate ambition."
