    People in England can take unlimited outdoor exercise from Wednesday under the government's latest guidelines on the coronavirus pandemic.

    Tennis, along with golf and angling, has been cited as a sport that can be played safely, while keeping two metres apart from anyone else.

    So how are you advised to stay safe?

    • Bring your own equipment - the minimum necessary - and only touch your own tennis balls.
    • Initial those balls, so you know which ones to serve with, and return ones which aren't yours with either your racquet or foot.
    • Do not try to adjust the net. Venues are being told to ensure they remain at the appropriate height, and to take the net winders away.
    • Avoid changing ends every couple of games, and bring a full water bottle and some hand sanitiser to the court with you.

    NHS staff dealing with the coronavirus crisis are being offered support by trauma experts skilled in helping war veterans and terror attack survivors.

    Psychological health consultancy March on Stress is working with a Birmingham health trust and others across the UK.

    As the number of cases decline, staff are more at risk from psychological trauma, an NHS spokesman said.

    "As the pandemic has started to slow, people have had the brain space to reflect on the level of emotion, including fight or flight response and new feelings are coming out," Raffaela Goodby, director of People and Organisation Development for the Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust said.

    BBC Four has shared a video telling the story of the thousands of Caribbean and African women who answered the call 70 years ago to come to the UK to save the then ailing health service.

    It's a tale of a struggle to overcome racism, their fight for career progression and their battle for national recognition.

    War Horse author Michael Morpurgo is just one of more than 100 people who have contributed to The Book of Hopes.

    Children's author Katherine Rundell came up with the idea for the book to inspire children during the coronavirus pandemic.

    The contributions can be read and seen for free on the National Literacy Trust's website.

    It's hoped it will be published to raise money for NHS charities.

    In early April the Sri Guru Ravidass Sabha in Bedford promised to make meals for paramedics for as long as the coronavirus pandemic remains- and it has stayed true to its word.

    NHS nurses at 25 trusts across the UK are due to receive pallets of gifts donated by companies.

    It coincides with International Nurses Day.

    The pallets include chocolates, hand wash, soft drinks, toiletries and hygiene products.

    Blue Light Card, a discount service for the health sector which organised the donations, said: "The Covid-19 pandemic means that the NHS and emergency services are even more stretched than usual, and will be selflessly and tirelessly working to keep us safe, healthy and supported.

    "It’s times like this we value our blue light community even more."

    The Anniversary Games in London have been cancelled because of the pandemic, UK Athletics has confirmed.

    London Stadium had been scheduled to host the event - also part of the Diamond League season - on 4-5 July.

    UK Athletics is "hugely disappointed" to cancel the Games, its chief executive Joanna Coates said.

    "It will have a significant financial impact on UK Athletics and wider sport," Coates added.

    More than 500 patients have been recruited by a hospital trust to take part in studies to find treatments for Covid-19.

    Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust said the trials are supported by the National Institute of Health Research and aim to understand why people are affected in different ways by the virus.

    The research team - based at the Royal Preston Hospital - is working with the University of Central Lancashire on the project.

    A photographer has been documenting people’s lockdown experiences from their doorsteps to reveal their "resilience" during the pandemic.

    Jonathan Bowcott, 52, from Bristol, started The Covid Chronicles on his Instagram page to show people’s “positivity” during a difficult time.

    He said the project has given him "new optimism" during lockdown.
